Meet Andrew Moxley, Student Pastor at Lux Fellowship! Andrew devotes his time to the various callings of husband, youth leader, accountant, seminary student, and disciple of Christ. He and his wife, Sydney, live on the Northshore of downtown Chattanooga with their dogs, August and Daisy. Andrew responded to the gospel in repentance and faith in high school, and started walking with the Lord in service to his own youth ministry. God used many theologians, church mentors, and mission trip experiences to shape Andrew and equip him for the leadership role he serves in today. It is a great blessing to pass on the gift of discipleship that he himself once received, by providing faithful teaching of God’s word and spiritual guidance to the students at Lux.
When he is not hanging out with Lux Students, Andrew and his wife enjoy being active and outdoors, whether that is working out, hiking with their dogs, or traveling to new places. He loves to read philosophy and classic literature, watch independent films, and go to concerts. In this stage of life, he is often found in the UTC library, where he works remotely, studies for school, and drinks black tea. His first priority is being a steadfast partner for his wife, and then a supportive son to his parents, Rhonda and Keith. Andrew feels honored and delighted to serve the congregation at Lux, and excited to get to know the Rock Spring community!
